Want to waste some time? Do a Google Search for DSC00001.jpg and see the first pictures that people took on their digital cameras. This points to 100 different ways to make use of the utterly comprehensive Google search engine; imagine what other digital identifiers you could enter into the search field that would get returned with fascinating–if not always completely useful!–information.
You probably already know, for instance, that you can enter in a FedEx or DHL tracking number without any further information and find your package, every time. For those of us who remember having to pick up the phone and call to speak to a real person for this info, functionality like this is borderline miraculous.
Thanks for the tip Nate, and wasting 10 minutes of MY time!

Well that was a good use of an hour… thanks for the tip Jim.
And if you’d like to see the first picture from a Nikon camera, just add an ‘N’ and take off a digit.

(at least that’s what my Nikon 4300 produces)

Wow, one thing is for sure – Nikon owners take some pretty funny pictures! Thanks Chris.
