Gmail Announces New Features

by Tom

Gmail, Google’s popular e-mail service has just added 4 new features:

  • Gmail Notifier (officially supported)
  • Powerful Contacts Searching
  • Automatic forwarding to another email account
  • Save as Draft

The last two features are nice additions. With forwarding, you can set up a filter to forward only selected emails to a different e-mail account.  Gmail has built up real momentum vis-à-vis the Hotmail juggernaut as well and Yahoo e-mail for most people. It just feels like Google is taking a more ambitious, hands-on and responsive approach to their free e-mail offering, and there is plenty of talk out there about Google eventually integrating Gmail into various other services that they offer.

I have two invites to give to the first two who comment here.
