Firefox 1.0 RC 1 is available for download and includes over 250 bug fixes. Mozillazine suggests that:
If you’ve already downloaded 1.0 PR (the “feature complete” preview) and you’re not really interested in testing and bug reporting, then you should probably stick with 1.0 PR for a couple more weeks and upgrade when we release the official Firefox 1.0.
Even so, it is pretty impressive just how quickly Mozilla is attending to this many bug fixes so soon after the release of 1.0 PR. It’s one of the reasons why we can have such confidence in the browser and also part of why I am finding myself to be quite an evangelist for its adoption!
