Firefox Screen Reader Emulator

Fangs is a Firefox extension that emulates a screen reader. It creates a textual representation of a web page similar to how the page would be read by one of the modern screen readers.

Always useful – expecially with new accessability laws coming into power worldwide in 2005

Speaking of screen reader Firefox extensions, I discovered something called Fire Vox at SXSW. This guy wrote an extension that packs a fully functional screen reader into Firefox! He showed it to me at the demo table, and it was like JAWS except it’s free and it works for Firefox.
