ScrapBook is a very cool Firefox Extension that allows you to collect clippings of text from the websites that you visit. This can be a great tool for when you are doing research.
The clippings are organized and saved to disk and you are given the opportunity to add your own comments and annotations. Scrapbook also stores the original URL of the clipping so you can visit the full text of the site in the future, if needed.
I just love tools that speed up my workflow, especially since I encounter so much more valuable information because of the Internet than I used to in the course of the day. I have used this extension and I’m surprised at how naturally it integrates with what I’m doing.

Agree that ScrapBook is really useful. Was planning to post about it and a few other extensions, including Sage, soon.
