Gotta love the rumours that begin to surface just before any MacWorld Expo! Think Secret is reporting a sub-$500 Mac and a whole slew of new and upgraded apps. This is not the first time that a cheaper line of Macs has been floated by the infinite Mac rumor mill out there, but just stop and think of the implications if there is any truth to it this time.
About the only excuse that a lot of Windows users still have for continuing with their Wintel machines is the cost. If Apple suddenly removed that as an overriding factor and could show functionality that is on par with many of the functions of a low-end Windows computer, I think the implications would be profound. Come on Steve let’s do something really revolutionary!
