Folksonomies and the Information Architect

Joshua Porter has been busy writing a great collections of articles that deal with Folksonomies – or the classification of things using tags. Flickr and del.icio.us are two great examples of sites that use Folksonomies. As much as anything else Folksonomies represent possibly better ways of dealing with myriad information coming at us nowadays via the Internet. It’s definitely part of the zeitgeist and a meme for our times.
