Richard Livsey has posted a neat technique for providing Help Tips via the hover state of any element on your web page. His method uses Javascript and CSS and degrades nicely if the end-user has either of those technologies disabled. I don’t know about you but I am a big fan of user interface features that provide more information about elements on a page without actually having to click on any elements.
I believe this speeds up navigation time as we don’t have to necessarily click a link for instance to have some idea of where exactly is taking us. This is a nice little tip that you can use yourself if you agree with me.
