Database-Driven Tree Structures with XML and XSLT

by Tom

Pascal Opitz from the Content with Style blog has a fantastic tutorial on creating : Database-driven tree structures with XML and XSLT. The technique uses the preordered tree traversal method on the database, then uses PHP to create the XML that is then styled with XSLT.  I know this is going to be of interest only to people who program with XML and PHP but I’ve included here because it is such a high quality tutorial that people who do really shouldn’t miss.

I promise to all graphic designers and other  people whose area of expertise isn’t quite as tech-heavy as programmers that tomorrow we will be back with more  mainstream tips!

If you found this helpful or interesting, please share it!
