Handling RFP Tension

by Tom

Digital Web Magazine offers some good advice on Handling Request for Proposal (RFP) Tension. The article discusses four areas of client/designer “engagement tension” or places in the RFP where client interests and developer interests are often misaligned.  This is a great example of an informative article on real-life problems that must be encountered hundreds of times a day in the offices of web professionals.

One wishes that more pros would share their experiences and solutions to practical challenges such as RFPs, which few textbooks cover but are critical to the success of businesses, large and small. This particular article walks through the solution that one  design firm has hit upon to systemize how the handle requests for proposals.
