I’ve used Live CD’s on many occasions to fix Windows problems and to perform simple tasks like cloning drives and repartitioning.  This is one of those articles that tackles a subject that I’d assume that most readers of this website are already aware of, but just in case you’re not I feel compelled to point to it.

Lord knows we have enough problems with Windows and also that they’ll occur at absolutely the most inconvenient times, so do yourself a favor and shore up your defenses with a Linux live CD.
