del.icio.us has a very cool new feature that turns any link to an MP3 file within a webpage into an interactive and embedded media player. playtagger gets used by including a simple <script> element onto your webpage, which in turn replaces all anchor elements that point to an MP3 file into a small Flash-based media player. This is a very interesting way to increase the relevance of del.icio.us generally, not to mention giving users an easier way to access music than having to deal with hardware and CDs.
The possibilities here are incredible for anyone who is creative enough to curate musical content that people really want to hear: now we have a way to very easily facilitate playback.

Rather cute.
Noticing alot of changes in del.icio.us in the last few weeks – such as the new input box at the very top of your “my del.icio.us” page (e.g. del.icio.us / magnetik / [INPUT] ) where you can “quick key” in a tag set to view.
It’s such a good service – renders classic bookmarks close to useless in my book.
