Enhancing Firefox GUI Usability

by Tom

Here is a nice little tip that will show you how to make the Firefox Back Button Bigger. Why? Well, the bigger the button, the easier it is to target with the mouse, making for better usability (and accessibility).  The value here for developers to become comfortable with the idea of hacking Firefox browser itself, but you also could be a big help to a friend with vision problems or other sorts of accessibility issues that make it difficult to use the default back button in Firefox.

I don’t particularly have any accessibility issues but I’ve often wondered why the forward and back button, as well as the refresh icon are not bigger in Firefox and other browsers.
