Eleven SSH Tricks

If you use SSH to remotely manage a server, you’ll want to check out Eleven SSH Tricks at the Linux Journal. SSH is the evolution of rsh and rlogin, which now are generally not to be used because of their comprehensive lack of security.

The good news is that after being used for more than 20 years a lot of the best features that each contained can now be found in SSH. A lot of admins might not be aware of all of the power that they have available to them in SSH, and I know I was surprised that some of the tips featured in the article.
