Google Safe Browsing for Firefox

Google Safe Browsing is an extension to Firefox that alerts you if a web page that you visit appears to be asking for your personal or financial information under false pretences.

    Seems like a great extension, unfortunately it’s only available for users within the US. I don’t see why the extension wouldn’t work or be of any value for users outside the US.

    I think I can install it if I use a proxy (proxy.org) so that I use a different IP address, like one in the US. I’m curious if it would still work if the extension is installed and I’m not using a proxy.
