Performancing.com has released an interesting Extension for Firefox that integrates blog posting right in your web browser. The tool works with popular blogging systems like WordPress, Moveable Type and Blogger. The editor is started by clicking on a small icon that resides on the status bar, then the editor is displayed docked to the bottom of the current page you are viewing. One of the cooler features is the ability to drag selected text from the page you are viewing directly into the post editor. If you have a blog you should give this a shot–I’ve created this particular post with it! I’m not sure if I’ll stay with this in-browser solution but it’s giving me options that I like.
