Firefox Page Capture Extension

by Tom

Pearl Crescent Page Saver is a fantastic extension that will take a screenshot of any page loaded in the browser. If the page you’re trying to capture has scrollbars, the entire page is captured! This extension differs from the others available as it does not require Java to be installed. One of the minor OS X shortcomings is that it doesn’t allow you to do a screen capture of an entire page if it extends beyond the bottom of your browser frame; this Firefox extension will come in very handy for those times when you need a JPEG or a Gif  of the entire page.

Not to deminish the value of this extension, but this is exactly why one of the most valuable programs I use daily is SnagIt… It is extremely versitle and takes a pic of a page region, whole page with or without scrollbars, time based snapshots like robodemo etc.. really helpful program and small footprint. I’m actually not sure if it uses Java or not.
