Listible! is a new “Web 2.0″ application that let’s you create sharable lists or collections of items. Within each list, visitors can add their own items or vote for items that are already on the list. The lists are ordered by the popularity of each item in the list. This is a very interesting extension of the idea of folkonomies, which incorporate the opinions of many people when it comes to organizing specific types of information on the Internet. The idea is that the opinions of the people for whom the lists are created are more valid than some arbitrary overseer of the online list or set of tags.
