WordPress Multiuser is a specialized version of the popular PHP-based blogging software that could be used for creating community-based blogs. WordPress must’ve had a lot of requests for this sort of collaborative platform for creation, and from a quick overview of what they’ve created here it looks very impressive. Now that everyone is connected, multiuser functionality is probably going to be default functionality within blogging platforms and other software in the future; WordPress seems to have a leg up on the competition by introducing this relatively early.
Using WordPress Multi-user edition you will be able to have people be able to sign up for a new blog and have them securely manage their templates and settings without affecting any other users. Only one blog per user is allowed, but you can have unlimited users, and you can have multiple users on a single blog.
