Benjamin Han has a great list of UNIX Tips for Mac OS X. Many of the tips will help you tweak some of the annoyances out of using OSX and turn you into a bit of a power user! Han is clearly a whiz UNIX guy and it is incredibly instructive to see the similarities and overlap between MacOS X and so many UNIX tools covered here.
The good thing about this list is that most of the tips are extremely narrow in their focus; Han even warns that much of them are simple reminders to himself, but because of this it becomes a great resource for addressing small issues such as ‘Send an email to a bunch of people from command-line’ or ‘How do I mass-rename file extension? (variable substitution in bash)’. All in all it’s just a great bunch of tips and an opportunity to learn more about OS X by way of UNIX.
