IIS 6.0 Manager for Windows XP

by Tom

With Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 Manager you can remotely manage any number of IIS 6.0 servers from a Windows XP Professional workstation.  Sure you could use remote desktop, but if you simply need to start and stop a server or create a virtual directory this tool is perfect! I like a tool that doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles I don’t need for tasks that don’t necessarily require them, and although I am a big fan of remote desktop I think there’s a lot to be said for this IIS Manager.  I haven’t actually used it yet but I would be interested in your feedback, from any readers who have.
