Apple is recalling and exchanging batteries in many of the Mac Book Pro’s that were sold between February and May. To find out if your battery is on the list (like mine wasunfortunately) you can visit Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Pro Battery Exchange Program page on the Apple website. Naturally I was disappointed to find that my battery was recalled, but I have to say that the experience of replacing it, i.e. Apple’s execution on the matter, was not a problem for me. I can’t remember the last time that Apple had a recall for what it’s worth and at least the process was painless.
