Free Online File Converter

Mark this in the very cool utilities category - Media Convert is a web based tool that will convert files from one format to another. The lists of files it can handle is impressive:

… and that is to just name a few! So now when somebody sends you a file that you just can’t open, check this site to see if they can do something with it for you!

    Contrary to what it says, SWF is not supported as an input file!

    I tried to convert flv. to mpeg-2 dvd pal but it cut it half way through. Can someone help?

    It does not convert PDF to either excel or word. Really annoying and useless.

    wat websites can we use to convert youtube vidz to mp4 format - ive tried a few but theyre nt gud sound quality sum1 help me and giv me a few sites please!! (btw - i wud prefer not to install software) …:)

    It did not work for me every time I tried to convert PDF to WORD. What it would produce is a .php file that is certainly not the converted file or display an url error. What is going wrong? Sorry Gizmo!
