Tangerine is an application for OSX that hooks into iTunes and creates playlists based on the beats per minute (BMP) of songs in your library. Finding music you like to add to your library has been a problem for a while now; most solutions attempting to address this problem have to do with getting recommendations from your friends as to music that they like, or more interestingly making suggestions for you based on the music that you already have in your library. This is a novel way to further categorize music so that the dimension of rhythm is directly impacting the suggestions being made for you.
