If you’re trying to follow all of the new web frameworks out there, The Django Book is a good place to start learning about this new Python framework. The book is published with a GNU document license but will eventually be published by APress. There is currently only one chapter available, but the authors goals are to add one new chapter per week.
Update: the offer for the online version of this book is interesting. You can get the first edition of the book-the web version-for free! This version is identical to the print edition but it covers only Django 0.96, not Django 1.0. Also, there will be a release of the second edition of the book soon; you can preview it on the web right now and also provide your feedback for the authors.
