Sync2S3 allows you to synchronize and backup your files online easily and securely with the Amazon S3 storage service. Amazon rates are quite inexpensive and you only pay for what you use. It is apparent that this is the way that computing is going, with more and more storage facility available online that at the same time getting simpler and simpler to make use of. Some people try to downplay the degree to which we will use online storage in the future but remember that this does not at all mean that local storage is going away or even becoming less vital. It’s just that with such enormous storage requirements we will all have in a video-filled future, having incredibly cheap options as to storage is a no-brainer.

Personally, I prefer Rcache, it’s free and offers space on the web for file storage, and is basically a research repository that comes with firefox addon that is a collector. rcache.com
