Ryan Stewart recently Interviewed Mike Downey who is a Senior Product Manager for Adobe Apollo. Apollo is a new product currently in its early stages of development that promises to provide a cross-platform desktop runtime capable of combining Flex, Flash, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX content into stand-alone desktop applications. Like a lot of web developers I can barely contain my excitement over the impending release, at least in beta form, of the new Adobe Apollo. This interview fills in a lot of gaps in the information we’ve had so far about this new platform and is an outstanding introduction from the ground up as to what Adobe is trying to accomplish by introducing it.
