Adium, my favorite IM client on the Mac has just gone gold with version 1.0. This update features over 600 new features/bug fixes. Most notable though is the great new look and better contact status notifications. I would imagine that you have heard of Adium already but if you are a frequent user of Instant Messaging and you are using OS X, I would strongly suggest that you give it a try if you haven’t gotten around to it yet. Whether you use AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, Jabber, or any of dozens of other IM services Adium will accommodate you and I have just found it to be a pleasure to use.
