MS Consolas Font Pack

Microsoft is making one of their new Vista fonts, Consolas available for download. Consolas is a monospaced typeface that would look great in any text editor that you might use.

too bad it’s a .exe file, only available for XP & Vista… I, for a couple seconds, thought that it would be freely available for EVERYONE to download.

well said, tim.
it turns out this typeface may indeed “look great in any text editor”, the installer file requires Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 to be installed. How dumb is that??

Well it does say this in the Overview:
“This package is only intended for licensed users of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005.”
