During my recent trip to SXSW, Dustin Diaz introduced me to a new and powerful editor for Windows. E-TextEditor is a TextMate clone for Windows that shares many of the features found in its Mac father. Features like support for TextMate bundles, commands and bundles could make this a nice option for those of us who have to develop on both Apple and Windows platforms. As far as I’m concerned we can never have too many options for text editors, especially since they appear to be getting more feature-filled as time goes on. It is interesting how sometimes Windows clones pop-up that mimic Mac software; I have noticed that the converse also happens.
