Shane’s Birthday Wish
Seven year old Shane Bernier is a brave cancer patient at CHEO and he is asking people to send him a card for his birthday on May 30th. Shane wants to set a world record for the most number of cards received! He needs 3 million to set the mark, and his tally is currently at 250,000. Is there a way to send eCards to him?
I don’t think so. In the news report I saw, they mentioned that Shane really gets a kick out of opening and reading the mail. In fact so far, he has opened and read every card!
If this is the same category that Craig Shergold was trying for, he needs to get a lot more than 3 million cards… but Guinness closed the category anyway, per Wikipedia:
