Refactoring Bad Smells in Code

by Tom

Bad Smells in Code is a summary from Martin Fowler’s classic book Refactoring: Improving the Design of Existing Code. We’ve all been through the process of refactoring our code. Whether it’s simply a case of cleaning up messy code, or reorganizing the structure of our application, this summary is a teaser for you to go and buy Martin’s book. This book has relevance for programmers all across the experience spectrum and if you by any chance still have not read Fowler’s book do yourself a favor and at least read this short summary to get a taste of what you are missing; in my opinion any professional owes it to himself to get conversant with refactoring.
