FileZilla FTP Client is now Cross Plaform

by Tom

Before I rid myself of my Windows based PC’s, like a lot of people FileZilla was my Win32 choice for FTP clients.  It was open source and worked reliably and well with FTP and SFTP sites.  Now FileZilla is available for Mac OSX and Linux too!  It’s not a sexy Mac application though – it looks very much like its Windows version, but it still does work well!  I have a feeling that in about five years will look back with some nostalgia at FileZilla, because there is been a proliferation recently of similar tools that work every bit as well, as you’re probably aware.

I’ve been using this on Ubuntu and it works great – though it is lacking in the looks department :)

I am having the hardest time using Filezilla with my Mac. It’s just not connecting. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.
