This must be a phishing scam. The google chrome browser is free. You sir, are being reported to Adobe Feeds for having a fake blog.

    Hi Jim,

It’s nice to see a post from you again. I’d love to get an invite!

    Thanks,
    Lance

Phish Phan: I’ve know Jim long enough to know he isn’t phishing. Perhaps you should look into this a little further before jumping the gun? I think you’ll owe him an apology.

Also I’m sure there’s some explanation, I don’t know what it is. I already downloaded an installed Chrome for Windows without needing any invitation. Now if you have an invitation for the Mac OS X version, that would be great.

    Please send an invite over..

I’ve heard from friends that Chrome is a lot better than all the other browsers out there!

  40. bendrix said on September 21st, 2008 at 8:46 pm

WEll considering they don’t have a mac version yet I don’t expect you to pass one along to me. However I do like your blog and will come back again. BTW if you do get a mac version I want one :)

Before I ask for one can you confirm that it is worth having. I’m very suspicious of Google and most tools they offer are merely hidden data collection devices which impinge on our privacy.

Not sure about this. I for one think that most browsers have too many features already. I use my browser mainly for viewing websites, that’s it. I like the idea that all other features are added through plugins and such (the FF way). I for one am not really waiting for real innovations (though I like to be surprised). I’m waiting for compliance, but maybe that’s just the developer in me :)

    Hi

I’m really keen to try out Googles new Chrome browser, it’ll be interesting to see how much ‘additional’ value it can bring to someones browing/surfing experience….surely Firefox, Opera etc have all thats needed ;)

If you can send an invite accross I appreciate it.

    Thanks
