Google has added support for perspective in the Maps API for Flash. There is now the look-around control from Google Earth, pitch and yaw control, and camera trajectory support– the experience is much cooler. So if Apple is showing signs of wanting to abandon Flash on its mobile devices we have the interesting situation where the other tech behemoth it is embracing the technology on its flagship products, making it much more difficult to write off Flash in the future. But after all, if Google perceives that Flash can enhance the experience of its applications to what extent should it take into account whether or not hardware (that is competing with Android) can accommodate Flash or not?
