C|Net reports that Microsoft has said it will delay making any modifications to its Windows operating system and Internet Explorer Web browser, based on their appeal of the Eolas patent case.

This is certainly good news for the world of web development, and maybe an indication that Microsoft is finally looking at fighting this ridiculous ruling.
