I had a couple of topics worth posting on today, but figured I’d instead relate what I’ve spent the last 3-4 hours doing (admittedly multi-tasking). I’ve been upgrading 11 WordPress installations to the most recent WordPress version because of the attack currently in progress. I assume most people are aware of it by now, but in case you’re not, do yourself a favor… You had no plans for Sunday AM anyway, did you?
The problem for me is that about half of my WP sites used versions that were from before the no-brainer auto-upgrade, and I’d just been putting it off, especially with my slow Asian connection (save the pity, I did walk on a warm beach today….). Anyway, time well spent doesn’t always feel like time well spent. (I mean upgrading, not walking on the beach. That feels fine every time.)
Happy to have it done now though.
