BLT for Mac OS X is a small, freeware application that will check the links in your sites. As we get a little more sophisticated over time about incoming and outbound links from our website a tool like this becomes more valuable. For one thing, the fact is that search engines look very carefully at outbound links, and links to sites whose subject matter is shall we say less than savory. Inadvertently linking to a site like this can damage your ranking in the search engine results pages, so be forewarned and use a tool like BLT.
BLT checks all objects on web pages, not just images and clickable links. In addition, you get many options to help customize your link checking experience.
