Matt Cutts has a nice ‘notes to myself’ post on installing Android development environment on Ubuntu 9.04. You might not be aware of who Cutts is, but if you have a website you should be. He is the “web spam czar” at Google. Say what you want about Cutts– and a lot of search engine optimization specialists are less than happy with him– I think it is nice of him to go to the trouble of posting an instructional article on something completely unrelated to SEO. He does have a presentation style that is extremely clear and if you have this particular Linux distribution and an interest in Android you should take a look at the post.
