Javascript Grid Component Review

by Tom

After an entertaining introduction Roberto Bicchierai gives us a pretty comprehensive review of available JavaScript grid components. He divides the list of JavaScript grid editor into: data-driven, light editing implementations emphasizing “editing agility”, and JavaScript Excel spreadsheet clones. I love it when I come across well-written articles created by programmers who not only have excellent technical understanding but who are able to inject a little personality into the tips, tricks and tutorials that they go to the trouble of creating for their readers on the web.

In my opinion it makes all the difference in terms of usability–it’s not that you have to have a standup routine at the beginning of a video, but there is no reason why, as in this review of Javascript grid components, why programming competence can’t be delivered in a human way.
