CSS Debugger is a neat bookmarklet that I came across on the codepoetry.net site. In a nutshell, when you click on the bookmarklet, it visually identifies all the classes and ID’s in the web page that you are designing. Among other things I can foresee this being a great learning tool for people who are learning to code, as it puts more information directly in front of the student. But by all means it will be very handy for professionals too!
When you visit this site, there are two versions of the bookmarklet – CSS Debug and CSS Debug Toggle. Be sure to use the CSS Debug Toggle – it allows you to get rid of the visual hints by clicking the bookmarklet as opposed to reloading the page.
