You expect that digital representation of 3-D space and objects is still rapidly evolving, but when I see a demo like this simulation by Thiago Costa done using Lagoa Multiphysics solver, it’s hard not to be astounded! Oh the mathematics! Seriously when I see something like this I just have to wonder where we’ll be 10 or 20 years with this technology; I remember when industrial strength CAD systems could not represent a filleted corner without facets that today would look downright stone aged. Come to think of it that was about 20 years ago as well…
