Clear Cache(s) in OSX

by Tom

Cache Out X is a utility for Mac OS X that specializes in deleting the cache files of the System and of Internet browsers.  Heck I just love the name as much as anything else, but having used this myself I can tell you that there is a lot of functionality here in one little tool and I always like to point people to things like this.

It can also delete virtual memory file(s), erase system history files, as well as cookies and Internet-related navigation/download history files. It’s Auto-Cleaner function cleans caches at log in or as scheduled by the user thanks to iCal support. It supports a wide range of browsers including:

  • Safari
  • Internet Explorer
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Omniweb 4.0 & 5.0
  • Opera
  • Camino
  • iCab
  • Mozilla X
  • Netscape
  • Mozilla Firebird
