Digital Media Minute has done many, many pointer posts on where to find icon sets and open source icon libraries over the years, but it’s been way too long. Noupe came out with this great set of 50 gorgeous new icon sets that won’t cost you a dime. If your icon library is getting a little stale give these a look. Also, for everyone out there who might be new to blogging or creating websites generally, remember that search engines love to see images that are tagged properly in text-based content for the web. I have always been surprised at how many visitors come to my websites by way of images and icons on my sites, so I would suggest adding good-looking icons to enhance the visual experience of your site.
