refcards.com has a nice collection of quick reference cards that cover topics from server administration to HTML/CSS authoring. If you are a visually oriented learner, or if you have ever used reference cards or flashcards to learn a language for instance you’ll find this site extremely helpful. There are many, many free PDFs that you can use to quickly create reference cards and distribute them to students or simply refer to on the job yourself. As partial as I am to digital media for providing tools that educate without burying us in paper, there is a lot to be said for reference cards as quick, portable solutions for keeping tips sheets close at hand.
