winipcfg for Windows NT/2K/XP

Remember the days of Windows 9x when you could type winipcfg in the Run window and view all your IP configuration information from a GUI? For some reason, Microsoft did not ship winipcfg with Windows NT, 2000 or XP. Recenlty, Microsoft made the utility available at their site.

You can download Wntipcfg.exe – a Windows NT IPConfig Utility from the Microsoft site. It is a free download.

A note on intallation – I found that if you installed the app into it’s default location, you could not invoke the program from the Run prompt. So change the install path to your Windows directory.
