Gmail Invites on EBay

I guess you know it had to happen – Gmail invites are being sold on E-Bay. For less than $5.00 people are willing to sell their Gmail invites on the popular auction service. The ads promote getting a Gmail account early so that you can get an address that contains your actual name – and maybe this makes it worth purchasing an account as early as you can. For example, I have very few people in my address book that use Hotmail and don’t have a number after their e-mail address (ie. Pookie231@hotmail.com).

first off – LOVE the new design. it’s just a pleasure to look at. I especially love the top pictures. very nice.

anyway, not to rain on the capitalizing parade of the gmail/ebayers, but I’ve got a handful of invites available. I’m not asking for money. just want to give them to people early on, who actually want them. (better than pusing them on family members who don’t understand the appeal/tech)

    email me if you like.
    cheers all!
