wGetGUI

wGetGUI is an easy to use Graphical User Interface (GUI) for wGet. wGet is an extremely powerful command line program that will download files and even complete websites. The command line version can be difficult to use, thus wGetGUI comes to the resuce!  In the past year or so we’ve seen a lot of these third-party tools that provide graphic user interfaces for software that formerly was only usable in command line versions. I think it’s easy for professionals to lose sight of the fact that users who are less conversant with the technologies in question than they are sometimes have real barriers to using these tools. GUI complements like this fill a real need.
